Our team was tasked to assemble and deploy specialized computer systems used for CPU design debugs for a two-year project in the client’s Colorado facility.



This complex project required the configuration and operation of Windows server and client operating systems to include a myriad of test applications and implementing board rework for engineering change orders, and performing general solder rework to include a fine pitch surface mount.  Our team was also tasked with monitoring and implementing inventory control and equipment disposition according to corporate standards.


Solutions Implemented:

Our team worked closely with electrical engineers, assisting them with test equipment and logistics needed for CPU design debug and electrical standards verification. This resulted in the implementation of:

  • Production testing / debug of wireless video systems.
  • Solder assembly, test, and rework prototype PCB designs
  • Schematic entry and PCB layout using Eagle CAD software
  • Setup, configuration, and maintenance of CPU development systems
  • Configure lab equipment for engineering test data collection
  • Debug to the component level of a board
  • Perform fine pitch reworks using two-hand solder tools
  • Solder rework per ECO (Engineering Change Order) of development PCB’s
  • Lab PC hardware maintenance and configuration
  • Supported Windows Server, Linux Server, and desktop operating systems and hardware, including installation of OS & network configuration
  • MRP inventory data entry


End Result

Our team was successful in delivering a project realization on time and 35% under budget.
